It would be more helpful for you do duplicate what I did, use a different ICM file, than for me to remove mine and duplicate what you found, which is not what I need.
I would therefore suggest you to remove the custom color profile and check I tried reproducing the issue and found that with the default settings there is no change in the photos in WPV and the photo app in terms of brightness or contrast.
